Cyndi SallmanPicture of Cyndi Sallman

Cyndi Sallman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a masters degree from Kansas State University and specialized training in play therapy, trauma, and attachment therapies.

Ms. Sallman describes her practice by saying, "I am passionate about helping children heal and improving family relationships! I provide the support and respect necessary for children and families to feel safe and begin the healing process. I help families discover the underlying reasons for current relationship and behavior issues.

"I specialize in working with children and families, especially those who have experienced trauma or loss of an attachment figure (i.e. adoption, foster care, divorce, or deployment). I have specialized training in Play Therapy, Theraplay (an attachment based therapy), and DDP (an attachment and trauma therapy)

"I use an experiential approach to therapy. This is important because trauma is experienced through all five senses. Therefore, all of these senses are needed to heal. Experiential techniques include play therapy, sandtray therapy, art therapy, journaling, or story telling. These techniques are effective with all age groups."
